You can't beat Boston's Public Garden, even when it's covered in a blanket of snow. It's New England's top-ranked park, the 7th most popular in the country and, lucky for us, our neighbor. Come try your Olympic-style triple axels on Frog Pond and enjoy our favorite statue, “Boy and Bird,” created by a former MBTA ticket taker. If you see a bud popping out here and there, take heart. The swan boats make their return voyage mid April!
The gift of an Avanti gift card means that you really really care. It's a simple, personal way to spread good cheer and it's one gift card that the recipient will actually use. You can up the wow factor by packaging it cleverly (in a giant bow or hidden inside a box of sweets), or including it with several Newbury Street gift cards for the ultimate Experience Gift. Our gift cards are available in any amount and can be redeemed for services and products. Stop by or give us a call. Happy giving!
According to Harper Bazaar's Fall Hair Trend Report, this is a season of contrasts. From casual elegance to wowie, textured updos, there's a style for everyone in 2013. Prominent among fashionable do's is the low ponytail, showcased by Oscar de la Renta (whose signature fall pony is messy, not sleek). Moschino's (photo) are loose and bouncy. Lanvin, Richard Chai Love and Rachel Zoe emphasize the haphazard ease of the swept-back pony with pieces left out and tucked behind the ears. Tiebacks range from simple elastic to twice around with your own hair.
