Beginning her career specializing in men’s hair cutting and styling for several years, she has since evolved her skill set to spotlight her multi-faceted coloring proficiency. J’s work is manifested through her passion for creating innovative aesthetic and design, combined with an extensive knowledge of hair structure and hair color chemistry. J is meticulous when it comes to her color transformations, as her training is based on executing it correctly while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair, as opposed to simply getting it done as quickly as possible. While currently back in the salon full-time, she spent over 5 years of her career jetting around the country bi-weekly working for Master Bootcamp 2.0, a blonding and haircolor theory class founded and led by one of the industry’s most sought-after independent educators, @lisalovesbalayage (Lisa Hart-Walker).
